PSC meeting in Kiel: "Elaborate the benefits for the people”

On 25th of May 2009 the Project Steering Committee (PSC) came together in Kiel, Germany. The first issue of the meeting was the project dissemination: The partners decided on the details of the project logo and website.

    Moreover the PSC decided to intensify the stakeholder involvement. The political stakeholders in both regions should be informed continuously about the project status and the next activities. The PSC members pursue a strategy of continuous and target oriented communication to safeguard a maximum of political and administrational support. 
    The PSC outlined the importance to clarify the benefits of the Breast Health project for the people. The benefits for clinicians through cross-border medical cooperation will further to be discussed. Therefore the partners will carry out a questionnaire asking Danish and German experts about their expectations towards this subject. 
    Besides these steering tasks, the status of the work-packages was another central issue. The work-package coordinators informed the PSC about the proceedings. The central activity, the pilot run for the exchange of medical services is dated for January 2010.
