Ensuring financing with the EU –
Financial Officers Meeting in Flensburg

On 26th of June 2009, project partners met in Flensburg, Germany, to hold the "Breast Health" project’s Financial Officers Meeting (FOM). At this occasion, participants were informed about the content, structures and realisation of the project’s financial reporting system.
The meeting was moderated by Sven Neumann and Christian Bürger (dsn). At the Lead partner’s invitation, the external project management supports the partners with regard to the implementation of a financial reporting system. Project partners are obliged to account for their financial activities and allocation of resources. Only under these preconditions they will receive the full reimbursement of their expenses from the INTERREG Secretariat of the EU. At the FOM, dsn introduced all the necessary instruments and proceeding to the partners.
