Stronger involvement of physicians – PSC Meeting in Vejle
17.09.2009 −
On 7th of September 2009, project partners met in Vejle for the second „Breast Health“ project’s Steering Committee Meeting (PSC). In the centre of the meeting’s discussion were the clinician’s meeting on 7th October in Aabenraa.
The target of the clinician’s meeting was to involve professionals from Southern Denmark and Schleswig-Holstein into the planning and realisation of the pilot. The pilot run should be prepared, e.g. the cross-border realisation of diagnosis, the precise cooperation ought to be defined. Questions of details, e.g. the compatibility of German and Danish medical reports, need to be resolved.
The pre-condition for that is the cross-border incorporation in technical infrastructures. Christina Wanscher (MedCom), the coordinator of the work-package “IT-network and safety”, informed the PSC that this important milestone is realised already. Since beginning of July the data networks “KV SafeNet” and “Danish Health Data Network” are connected.
The other work-packages are going according to plan as well. In addition, work-package coordinators informed the PSC about the proceedings and status of every work-package.
