Clinicans Meeting in Aabenraa

On 7th October 2009, Danish and German clinicians met in Aabenraa and established a basis for a concrete cooperation in the field of Breast cancer screening, mammography as well as therapy and after care.
With regard to the cross-border pilot in the field of screening, expert groups were able to answer to open questions. The pilot will start in beginning of 2010. Furthermore, first discussions about a deeper cooperation in the field of mammography, surgery and therapy took place. The next meeting will be in mid January 2010 in Flensburg. Until then, expert groups will work upon cooperation concepts.
