Project extension approved

The Secretariat of the Interreg 4 A Programme approved the extension of the Cross-border Breast Health project until 31st of December 2010.

In March 2010 the project partners applied for the extension. The time will be used to realise central issues:

  • The pilot run will be carried out before summertime and evaluated in the second half of year.
  • The concept of the Cross-border Breast Cancer Centre will be finished for a sustainable medical cooperation after the project phase.
  • The discussions between clinicians and doctors will be intensified.
