Lessons learned

28.11.2010 − The vision of a “Common region of best health” has taken shape within the INTERREG 4A project "Cross-border Collaboration on Population Breast Health in South Denmark and Schleswig-Holstein". This mission was the main result of the Final Conference "Cross-border cooperation is the future – Breast Health is an example” on November 24th 2010 at University of Applied Sciences Flensburg, Germany.

Basis for cross-border referral

08.09.2010 − On September 6th 2010, the Project Steering Committee met in Haderslev, Denmark to discuss the pilot run in screening. The second main issue of the meeting was the final project report.

4th clinicians meeting on the 1st of October 2010

03.08.2010 − The 4th clinicians meeting takes place on the 1st of October 2010 from 9:00h to 12:00h in Aabenraa.

16.07.2010 − The pilot run in the Cross-border Breast Health Project is now initiated.

13.07.2010 − At the end of the Interreg 4A project the project partners invite to the Final Conference "Cross-border cooperation is the future - Breast Health is an example”.

PSC meeting in Kiel

01.06.2010 − On 31st May 2010, the Project Steering Committee met in Kiel, Germany.

10.05.2010 − On 5th of May 2010, the steering committee of “Betrifft Brust” came together in Kiel, Germany. Julia Günther (University of Applied Science Flensburg) presented the Cross-Border Breast Health project and its activities.

Project extension approved

07.05.2010 − The Secretariat of the Interreg 4 A Programme approved the extension of the Cross-border Breast Health project until 31st of December 2010.

PSC meeting in Aabenraa: “Ensuring sustainibility”

24.03.2010 − On 8 March 2010 the meeting of the Project Steering Committee (PSC) was particularly about the planned Cross-border Breast Cancer Center and the final project conference.

15.01.2010 − On 13th January 2010, Danish and German partners met in Flensburg at the 2nd Clinicians meeting to discuss the foreseen pilot run within screening and medical cooperation beyond.

21.12.2009 − The 2nd clinicians meeting takes place on the 13th of January 2010 from 13:00h to 16:00h at the Diakonissenkrankenhaus Flensburg, Fliedner Saal.

Planning of the next clinicians meeting - PSC meeting in Flensburg

11.12.2009 − On 7th of December 2009, the partners of the project "Cross-Border Breast Health" met in Flensburg for their third Project Steering Committee (PSC). The central points were the debriefing of the last clinicians meeting in Aabenraa, the pilot run and the planning of the next clinician's meeting.

10.10.2009 − On 7th October 2009, Danish and German clinicians met in Aabenraa and established a basis for a concrete cooperation in the field of Breast cancer screening, mammography as well as therapy and after care.

Stronger involvement of physicians – PSC Meeting in Vejle

17.09.2009 − On 7th of September 2009, project partners met in Vejle for the second „Breast Health“ project’s Steering Committee Meeting (PSC). In the centre of the meeting’s discussion were the clinician’s meeting on 7th October in Aabenraa.

Ensuring financing with the EU –
Financial Officers Meeting in Flensburg

27.06.2009 − On 26th of June 2009, project partners met in Flensburg, Germany, to hold the "Breast Health" project’s Financial Officers Meeting (FOM). At this occasion, participants were informed about the content, structures and realisation of the project’s financial reporting system.
